Meet the new plants coming into my home!

Obie a Succulent

Rescued from an Aldi, I planted this little dude in an old, tea bag cart. From what I’ve learned these guys are pretty resilient. Succulents make great starter plants! Give them to a forgetful friend or to a younger sibling who wants to get into plants.

Henrietta a Succulent

Another rescue from Aldi! Don’t let the name fool you, Henrietta is the cream of the crop. She’s been loving her new home in this Goodwill mug and I can already see a few new leaves sprouting from her top. Luckily, you don’t need to water succulents too much. Meaning that you can pot them in a spot without superb drainage. Just make sure that you don’t drown the poor babies.
